As part of giving our customers the best experience possible, it is our intent to repair under warranty, without any charge, any failure occurring during the warranty period resulting from defects in material or workmanship. This includes replacing service supplies, such as oils, coolant, and refrigerant, etc. when needed.
As per your Warranty Coverage, please note the distinction between ‘defects’ and ‘damage’. Any problem in your Cadillac caused due to manufacturing errors are deemed as ‘defects’. However, issues as a result of collision, misuse, or lack of maintenance after the vehicle has been delivered to you is considered ‘damage’ and isn’t covered under Warranty Coverage.
Maintenance Services are excluded from Warranty Coverage as it needs to be followed in accordance with your Maintenance Schedule Plan.
It is normal for defects or damage to occur to sheet metal, paint, trims, or other appearance items during the assembly of your vehicle at the factory. In most cases, factory defects and damage are detected and corrected at the factory during the inspection phase. In addition, your Authorized Cadillac Dealer is obligated to inspect each vehicle and repair any uncorrected defects that may have been caused in transit before it has been delivered to you. In any case you find a defect, please contact your Cadillac Authorized Dealer at the earliest for it to be covered by Warranty Coverage, as normal deterioration due to use and exposure is not covered.
